Antoniesgat Trail

Highlights: Buffels Bay Beach is a treasure concealed from the major tour groups, and the Antoniesgat Trail, which departs from the immediate vicinity, provides beautiful views, a mild level of difficulty, and the chance to cool off in the tidal pools or appreciate the well-maintained braai at the end of the hike. The walk takes you close to the action where strong waves pound the peninsula and en-route the discovery of a variety of caves and tunnels. The views over the bay, towards the mountains, and of course up to the lighthouse at Cape Point make this one of the most enjoyable short trails in the region.
